To enter the Church of St. George everyone has to be checked by the authorities as this is a very important religious place.

This religious complex is where the Pope Bartholomew I lives. The Ecumenical Patriarch is the Archbishop of Constantinople–New Rome. I personally had the chance of be present in a mess where Bartholomew I gave a speech.
